Listing some of her influences as Neil Young, Patti Smith, and Leonard Cohen, I think it's safe for me to say that yeah, they're all in these ten tracks. And that yeah, they've all done it much better.

With an invigorating vocal style crossing Grace Slick with the aforementioned Smith, I was hoping for some music that would be just as interesting. But except for Ontario and Getaway Car, Four Cold Angels is standard issue rock n roll with formulaic songwriting. I'm sure Leckie is a trip on the Lower East Side and in the Brooklyn clubs, but I'm not sure it's going to go much further.

Track List:

  • Getaway Car
  • Four Cold Angels
  • Language of the Night
  • Ontario
  • You're So Cool
  • Drivin'
  • Nobody's Girl
  • Round and Back Around
  • Misfits
  • Dirty Old Town
